[...]Sorry, but the cynicism of this cartoon is out-of-date, misinformed and misplaced: the Thabanto era is already long over. See Zapiro cartoons from the years 1998-2007 (especially with their piles of bones that you reference with your graves in this cartoon) for the benchmark for witty, soulful and blood-drawingly conscientised social activist cartooning on the HIV issue.[...]

This biggish five cartoon seriously needs a revamp. Maybe spend more time on writing something funny instead of wasting time trying to make the lettering so illegible that you stop the reader of every finding out that it isn’t funny. And stop wasting an entire panel on the “pause for effect? crap, be original and stop being another “Cyanide and Happiness? copy cat.

Please could you return the urban trash comics… i miss them terribly so… i FAR prefer them to the biggish 5 ones [sorry, find them funnier]…

Hey there! I came across Trash Media last week, and I was instantly hooked. It makes me feel a little less weak knowing that there are other people who think the way I do, and are not afraid to trash the government. The article “Time for the truth”, run on Saturday, February 09, 2008, was passed along to me by my brother, and I think it’s hilarious, cos it’s true! And I’m glad someone wrote it! Keep up the brilliant work!

I haven’t written here in a loooong time, but still always read your cartoons. Content-wise they are are great as ever! But, your artwork leaves me feeling like I’m chewing on cardboard. Your UT drawing style used to be awesome, somewhat unique and always brilliant. Since end of last year your artworks looks like some software program generates it for you, or drawn by a fifth grader. Frankly, it looks crap.

[unimportant bit removed]…Her mom said she thinks Zapiro is the best cartoonist in SA.I opposed her, citing your strips. She disagreed,no taste obviously,…[unimportant bit removed]

Hey there Jeremy.

Haven’t been on your site for a long time (worked in Israel for a
bit). I see you still got my hand on your fan art!! I’m in Jhb now,
miss Sabie sometimes. Thanx for your cartoon, it is still the kakkest
cartoon around!!
Like what you did to the website.

dude i read my first ditwits panel today, classic dude keep that up!!!

The reason I read the Times man… You kikASS.

No, not that kind of strip! Your Ditwits strip! I couldn’t stop laughing at this morning’s one! Awesome humour!

When I first read Ditwits I thought it was kak! Now, because I am a big man I will admit that it has progressed from kak to flippen kiff in a very short time! Well done dude!

I found your website inspiring. You have found what you are good at and are using it. I was thinking about that last night. You had the balls to leave your last company and pursue your dream. Not many people have the bravery to do that. It made me think a lot about my own situation.

I found this cartoon through www.news24.com, and I think that it is great. Every strip is absolutely brilliant.

Keep up the good work.

I just found your kak cartoons. Awesome! A taste of africa to an african in germany!

Can you tell me why SAfricans are so stupid when it comes to Computer literacy?
I’m a ex SAfrican and learned the computer in just a few weeks. Thank God I left the place 43 tears ago.
So alles van die beste, ballas in die weste.

Just wanting to comment on your comic, I think its very good, having a lotta laughs about the sarcasm towards issues in sa. hehe, nice work!

As an old fart (57) stuck in the United Kingdom, I was deeply moved when I came across your strip and site. And if I continue to follow your trials and tribulations, it will move me permanently back home. Seven years is just too long.

I had an idea – how about a sister strip about Boere Mafia landing in and taking over New York USA..? A new breed of immigration trouble for the USA..
