Actually, the economic meltdown IS Bush’ (and the Republicans’) fault. He believed “the free market will regulate itself”, giving said free market the rope with which to hang the world economy.
He’s also the guy who withdrew America from the Kyoto environment agreement, if I’m not mistaken, because saving the world cost his precious big business friends too much.
