Drawing Dubya Nearly A Year Later
Monday, 9 November 2009, at 15:09Naturally, Barack Of Nazareth can’t take any responsibility for negative occurrences within his kingdom. It won’t bode well for Obamaniacs.
That said, George W makes up for that.
The last time, I think, that I drew Dubya was at the end of 2008. So, because I was a bit rusty, I had to pull out some photos of him.
I’ve drawn Obama enough times not to worry about referencing photos.
Many of the traditional cartoonists see colour as an accessory. I, however, consider colour (or lack thereof) as critical as the inked outlines.
I think Dubya came out okay.
I didn’t have to write his name anywhere.

I don’t know how many “Obamaniacs” are left over – it seems public opinion has taken a dive where he’s concerned, since he’s not performing economic and other miracles morning, noon and night.

Very seldom do you need to write the name because you get the individual’s key features so well most should be able to recognise them – er … perhaps except Amandzing who mistook your fantastic Pamela Anderson for Britney? Do I need to mention again the Rogu…….

Pammy was caught on video as was Paris (and probably Joost unless he’s lying now) while Bill was never videod but left his deposit on her skirt. Britney’s worst gaff to date is that she lip-synced at her concert. All the Britney caught on tape videos are fakes.
